I. INTRODUCTION Mechanical failure, hot cracking, wear and plastic deformation are the four main failure forms of forging die. To study the failure mechanism of forging die, the temperature field of solution die is first required. The thermo-viscoplastic analysis used to simulate forging production is a new method developed in recent years [1, 2], which involves solving forging die temperature field. Developing some precision forming processes for forging [3] also involves solving forging die temperature field. Finite element to solve forging die temperature field, first of all, to solve the finite element thermal conductivity equation. This article focuses on research not
