Northeast China’s water conservancy and fisheries scientific and technological cooperation meeting was held at the Fushun Dahuofang Reservoir General Field on October 20-21, 1993. The meeting was attended by ministries of water resources, Songliao Committee and water conservancy and fishery workers in the three provinces of Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning; Liaoning Provincial Bureau of Fisheries Technology, Liaoning Provincial Institute of Freshwater Fisheries, “Fisheries Science” editorial department also sent participants attended the meeting a total of 44 representatives. Comrade Gao Liancheng, director of the Liaoning Provincial Water Supply Bureau, first of all made a “report on strengthening scientific and technological cooperation and rejuvenating water conservancy and fisheries”. The Ministry of Water Resources and Liao
