1946年生,1985年毕业于上海工艺美术学校,师承徐宝庆、林翌。1986年毕业于上海大学美术学院油画系。1989年受聘于上海遗珠阁紫砂厂,任总工艺师、艺术总监。紫砂艺术在新加坡、菲律宾、马来西亚、日本、南非、台湾等国家与地区几度展出。媒体纷纷报导,彼有影响。1993年被上海文史馆雕塑研究所聘为特约研究员、第二工作室主任,1995年受聘于上海交通大学中国艺术研究所,任特约研究员、天翼艺术雕塑工作室任主任。近几年悉心于青铜艺术的创作,业绩辉煌。现为中国工艺美术学会会员、雕塑专业委员会会员、设计家分会副会长。
Born in 1946, graduated from the Shanghai Arts and Crafts School in 1985, Shibao Xu Baoqing, Lin Yi. In 1986 graduated from the Shanghai University of Fine Arts Department of oil painting. In 1989, he was employed by Shanghai Beizhi Zisha Factory as chief technologist and art director.
