1990年秋,辽宁省建昌县汤神庙镇孤山子村于道沟屯村民张国林在其院外平整场院时,发现了一批文物,上交给了建昌县文物管理所,计有青铜短剑、铜戈、陶豆等铜器、陶器、石器共20余件套。建昌县文管所随即到文物出土地点进行了调查,虽然所在遗迹已遭到彻底破坏,且没有发现人骨,但出土地点是可以确定的,且因有燕式陶礼器(豆)出土,已引起关注(初步认定系一处窖藏)。1999年,在距离这批遗物出土地点约20公里处的碱厂乡东大杖子,发现了一处大规模的战国墓地,出土遗物与于道沟的这批遗物类似,遂又对该地点进行了复查,并确定为一处墓地。
