2004～2006年对八连城内城的主要建筑址进行了发掘,清理出一、二号建筑基址及其之间的中廊和一号建筑基址两侧的东、西廊等遗迹。两座建筑基址南北向排列,中间有廊道,形制为工字形。一、二号建筑基址位于内城中轴线上,规模宏大,出土遗物包含高等级建筑上使用的绿釉脊饰和瓦件,应为八连城遗址宫殿遗迹。
From 2004 to 2006, the main building sites in the inner city of Eighth Dalian City were excavated to clear the relics of the No. 1 and No. 2 buildings and the east and west corridors of both sides of the corridor and No. 1 building base between them. The two buildings are arranged in a north-south direction with a corridor in the middle and a shape of an I-shape. One or two building base located in the inner city axis, large-scale, unearthed relics containing high-grade green glazed ridge decoration and roof tiles, should be the site of the Eight-City ruins palace.
