1984年8月,省林业厅对省林科所和秦皇岛市林业局种苗场,关于“山海关杨的研究”项目,组织了技术鉴定。鉴定书在肯定了山海关杨研究组的工作和山海关杨在杨树栽培良种系列中的地位后指出:无论群众造林,还是建立杨树林基地,山海关杨都是值得重视的优良树种。建议在冀东沿海沙地造林工作中积极推广山海关杨,今后进一步开展在其它立地条件的扩大栽培试验。 这项科研成果,是山海关杨研究组,自1972年以来经过较长期的调查、研究和试验后取得的,并在1983年作了材性试验。这个优良用材树种,主要分布在我省唐、秦两市,近两年来已扩大到我省平原各地,并引种到新疆、黑龙江、北京、江苏等九省、市。是个很有发展前途的树种。本期发表了主持这项研究的同志的文章,介绍了山海关杨的优良性状,借以推荐这个树种供大家参考。
In August 1984, the Provincial Forestry Department organized technical appraisals on the project of “Research on Shanhaiguan Yang” on the Seedling Farm of Forestry Bureau of Qinlingdao City and Forestry Bureau of Qinhuangdao City. The excellent timber species are mainly distributed in the Tang and Qin provinces of our province. In the past two years, this species has been extended to all parts of the plain of our province and introduced to nine provinces and cities such as Xinjiang, Heilongjiang, Beijing and Jiangsu.
