古坟的种类和形式高句丽的古坆分散在通沟地区、平安南北道和黄海道一带。仅在輯安和通沟山野一带的古坟就有数万个。过鸭綠江,以平北渭原、楚山、江界、云山等地和平壤为中心的无数古坆,分布在大同郡、龙江那、江西郡、宏川郡、信川郡一带,一直分布到黃海道安岳地区。高句丽古坆可分石筑坟与封土坟两类。石筑坆以鸭绿江为中心,平比一带和通沟地区为最多。这是高句丽的一种厚葬风俗。如“三国志魏志东夷傳”中所說的“金銀財帛,尽于送死,积石为封,列种松栢”诔跗?似乎沒有封土坟的形式,全部用石砌成,周围栽上松栢,保护着坟墓。这种石筑坆无論是在通沟地区或是平安南北道一带,都是很多的。那些在山野地带看超来像石堆一样的东西,就是这种石筑坆。
