权德舆,字载之,天水略阳人。他一生历仕唐德宗、唐宪宗,在中唐的政治地位非常显赫。他少负文名,被德宗召为太常博士,进中书舍人,历礼部侍郎。宪宗时拜礼部尚书、同平章事。元和十三年(818)卒,享年60岁,谥曰“文”。权德舆是中唐贞元、元和间文坛上十分活跃的人物,所撰碑志历来为人称道,《权载之文集》收录多达83篇,其中女性墓志12篇,分别是:《王妣夫人弘农杨氏袝葬墓志铭》《唐睦州桐
