The development of powder metallurgical technology has always been closely related to the development of the automobile industry. The total weight of the other parts used in automobiles generally accounts for more than 60% of the total output of iron-based powder metallurgy products. Early in the development of powder metallurgy technology before the Second World War, the United States started to use powder metallurgy to sinter bronze-based oil-bearing in automobiles, and then gradually developed to adopt iron-based structural components. Japan’s vehicle production increased 1.6 times between 1974 and 1980, while powder metallurgy sintering machinery increased another 3 times. Powder Metallurgy continues to serve the automobile industry with its new materials, new products, new processes and new technologies. Similarly, the progress and development of the automobile industry have also contributed to the advancement of powder metallurgy technology and promoted the development of powder
