篆刻发展成一门艺术之后,原本篆刻家是从古印里寻找适合的字体入印,称为印中求印。到清朝乾隆年间,金石大家邓石如先生,不甘刻章字体受限于古印之中,于是向外发展,开始以汉碑额的篆字入印,甚至还参用了“祀三公山碑”及“禅国山碑”上的文字,从此“印外求印”开拓了印章的视野。
Seal carving developed into an art, the original seal is from ancient India to find suitable fonts into India, called India and India.
