由于要求提高蜗轮副传动精度,就要求提高加工传动原件的刀具精度,特别是带螺旋容屑槽、导程H=150~1000mm的单头和多头滚刀的精度。这些滚刀多数是前角γ=0°。容屑槽前刃面是正阿基米德螺旋面,即是特殊封闭在内的非展开螺旋面,因而加工这种前刃面不能用回转体形式的刀具。通常用截形角σ_(KP)=15~30°的砂轮锥面磨削滚刀。
Due to the requirement to improve the worm gear transmission accuracy, it is required to improve the accuracy of the tool for machining the original gear, especially the accuracy of the single head and the multi-head hob with screw chip groove and lead H = 150 to 1000 mm. Most of these hobs are rake angle γ = 0 °. The front surface of the chip flute is a positive Archimedes spiral surface, which is a non-expanded helical surface that is specifically enclosed. Therefore, machining such a front blade surface can not use a rotary tool. Hobs are usually ground with a conical surface of a grinding wheel with a truncated angle σ_ (KP) = 15 to 30 °.
