根据中国国家标准化管理委员会《2009 年第二批国家标准制修订项目计划》的要求(项目编号:20091767 -T-604),由天津工程机械研究院等单位组成标准起草小组,负责制定推荐性国家标准《土方机械司机的身材尺寸与司机的最小活动空间》。标准起草小组按GB/T 1.1—2009和GB/T 20000.2—2009 的规定,编制了GB/T 8420—2011,代替GB/T 8420—2000《土方机械司机的身材尺寸与司机的最小活动空间》以使标准更能适应技术发展的变化,提高我国土方机械产品的操作适用性、舒适性和安全性,促进产品的技术水平进步。
