American engineers developed a real lean burn gasoline engine. Its performance depends on a new type of gaseous suction (injection) oil system that allows gas to be gasified by heat from a gasoline engine before being mixed with a cold main charge of air into the combustion chamber. The secret of this system’s performance is that the fuel is actually gasified, not just broken into liquid droplets. Jeffrey West, Southampton, inventor of the system, said no matter how advanced the fuel injection system is, the tiny drops of oil they spray can not turn oil droplets into oil and gas. To a Nissan
