走进大兴安岭,便是一望无际的大森林,生活在兴安岭地区的居民,与森林结下了不解之缘。他们所居住的房屋很少使用砖瓦灰沙石,而是用木头堆起来的。因此,兴安岭的民居称木屋。兴安岭的木屋无论从建筑用材、建筑形式、建筑风格看,都独具风格,是我国民居中的一枝奇葩。兴安岭木屋风格独特,具有以下几个特点:第一,兴安岭的木屋是以术为基。木屋的房屋基础不是用砖头或石头砌成的,而是以圆木为基。建房挖槽后,把选好的圆木放在槽内当房基。所用的房基木,两头比所建房屋要长、宽各40厘米,固定好后的房基木,如果从远处看房山的一侧,构成一个“井”字形。房基坚实、牢靠,不次于砖头砌成的房基。木屋内的地面,除炕、灶、火墙
