近几年,国内学术刊物上时有文章谈及文化因素与外语教学的关系。虽然这方面的材料不多,但已开始引起人们的注意。有的院校英语专业特开设了英、美历史、西方文化入门等课程,然而大学英语教学对此还没有引起应有的重视。如何在大学英语教学中自觉而有效地培养学生的社会文化能力,正是本文试图提出的问题。希望从事大学英语教学的同行共同探索有效途径,以利引导学生正确地使用英语进行交际。
In recent years, there are articles in domestic academic journals about the relationship between cultural factors and foreign language teaching. Although there is not much material in this area, it has started to attract people’s attention. Some institutions of higher learning English opened a special English, American history, the introduction of Western culture and other courses, however, college English teaching which has not caused due attention. How to cultivate students’ social and cultural ability conscientiously and effectively in college English teaching is exactly what the paper tries to raise. Hope to engage in college English teaching colleagues to explore effective ways to facilitate students to properly use English to communicate.
