The paper describes the mechanics principle of prestressing machine for roll forging machine and the method of applying prestress, the principle and parameter design of hydraulic protection device for roll forging machine. The effect of using prestressed frame and hydraulic protection device on roll forging machine to improve the comprehensive performance of the machine is analyzed.
