直流炉是高效节能的新型用电设备、安装数量日渐增多。但伴随其而来的另一方面是对电网造成谐波污染和降低电网的功率因数。因此,有必要根据具体设备的运行参数,设计安装性能合理的滤波器。该文涉及某厂一套典型滤波器的设计思路。这套滤波器自1995年4月投运以来,对11次谐波吸收达80%VXM,对13次谐波吸收达55%以上,有效地改善了母线电压波形,35kV母线上各次谐波均已达到国家标准,功率因数补偿达到0.95以上,并充分达到了预期的节能目的。
