众所周知,重庆从12年前开始,成为中国最年轻、人口最多的直辖市。2007年12月,薄熙来成为它的第五任主政者,也是第二位“入主”重庆的中共中央政治局委员。掀四大“红色浪潮”上世纪90年代,薄熙来在主政大连时,锐意进取,将曾经一度沉寂的沿海城市转型为充满活力的港口城市,并着力提升了大连的国际知名度。薄熙来也由此成为国内外知名度甚高的“明星官员”之一。
As we all know, Chongqing has become the youngest and most populous municipality in China since its establishment 12 years ago. In December 2007, Bo Xilai became its fifth ruling party and the second member of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau in Chongqing. In the 90s of last century, when Bo Xilai came to power in Dalian, Bo Xilai made every effort to transform the previously once-quiet coastal city into a vibrant port city and made great efforts to enhance Dalian’s international reputation. Bo Xilai also became one of the most famous celebrities at home and abroad.
