第十二届世界仿真航海模型锦标赛于2004年7月2日至10日在法国西部小城沙托兰举行。参加这届竞赛的有法国、德国、比利时、意大利、中国、白俄罗斯和乌克兰等12个国家。在宽敞明亮的大厅里,陈列着由各国航海模型优秀选手精心制作的200余艘不同级别的仿真模型,可以说是高手云集、精品多多。巴黎著名的航海博物馆还将部分馆藏展品——十余件精致的古典风帆战船结构模型陈列在大厅的左侧,显示出欧洲船文化悠久的历史和船模能工巧匠的精湛技艺。从总的情况上看,本届竞赛的规模和工艺水平大体与上届相当,有近三分之二的船模是第一次见到。这对中国选手来讲不仅增加了竞争的难度,同时也是一次很好的学习机会。本届竞赛共分C1级(帆船模型)、C2级(带机械动力的舰船模型)、C3级(船舶的结构模型、部件模型和场景模型等)、C4级(袖珍舰船模型)、C5级(瓶装舰船模型)、C6级(塑料拼装舰船模型)和C7级(精细纸制舰船模型)。
The 12th World Aquatics Model Championship was held on July 2 to 10, 2004 in Chartau, a small town in western France. Participate in this competition are France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, China, Belarus and Ukraine, 12 countries. In the spacious and bright hall, there are over 200 simulation models of different levels elaborately produced by outstanding sailors of various countries. It can be said that there are a lot of masterpieces gathered together. Some of Paris’s famous maritime museums also display some of the exhibits - more than a dozen fine classic sailboat structural models on the left-hand side of the hall, showing the long history of European ship culture and the craftsmanship of master craftsmen. From a general point of view, the scale of the competition and the level of technology roughly the same as last year, nearly two-thirds of the ship is the first time to see. This will not only increase the difficulty of competition for Chinese players, but also a good learning opportunity. The competition is divided into C1 (Sailing Ship Model), C2 (Ship Model with Mechanical Power), C3 (Ship Structure Model, Component Model and Scene Model), C4 (Pocket Ship Model), C5 (Bottled Ship Model), C6 (Plastic Packed Ship Model) and C7 (Fine Paper Ship Model).
