由勒柯布西耶的巴黎意象看起,这位20世纪最伟大的建筑大师之一,身处1925年工业革命如火如荼的时代,向未来的人们描绘了对于未来世界性大都市的城市意象愿景。随着人类社会史无前例的发展,至20世纪末,在中国大地上,从上海的陆家嘴到北京的国贸商圈,也出现了如我们前辈所描绘的,宽敞的城市大道、高耸的摩天大楼,人们看到了日益升级的城市综合建筑群体的视觉映像。但随之而来的交通拥堵的死结,城市功能的单一,人流的潮汐现象,超乎人体尺度的空间,缺少自然生态的环境,使人们更多地将其视作一个“工厂”而非清明上河图里比肩接踵、其乐融融的城市景象。
