In order to conscientiously implement the “Regulations on Physical Education in Schools” and further strengthen the physical education in primary and middle schools in rural areas, the Education Commission of Nanchong Prefecture and the District Sports Commission jointly held the “On-site Seminar on Physical Education Reform in Rural Schools of Nanchong Prefecture” in Yuechi County at the end of last year. More than 110 people attended the seminar, including chief of the Board of Education, director of the Physical Education Commission, county education department (director), sports specialists, physical education teachers and some primary and secondary school principals from 12 counties and cities in the region. Regional Education Commission, director of the Commission and regional people’s congresses, government
