Alcohol damage to the liver is well known. This article focuses on the folic acid on alcohol-induced liver damage whether there is a protective effect. Sixty-eight NIH mice were randomly divided into three groups: normal group (A group), alcohol group (B group) and folic acid and alcohol group (C group) After 4 weeks, the animals were sacrificed by staging. With histochemistry, electron microscopy and other methods. The results showed that folic acid significantly enhanced the activity of SDH, Mg ~ (++) - ATPase and G-6-Pase in liver and increased the synthesis of glycogen and decreased the activity of ACP. Right mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum and other ultrastructural damage. This suggests that folic acid has a significant protective effect on the function and structure of hepatocytes that have been damaged by alcohol.
