2009年12月,广西重大项目建设开始了新一轮的高潮:12月27日,云桂铁路广西段、南宁东站、玉林至铁山港铁路、广西沿海铁路黎塘至钦州段扩能改造工程、广西钦州临海园区地方铁路支线大榄坪至保税港区段等5个铁路项目同时开工。这些项目对于扩大西南地区出海通道运输能力、完善广西北部湾经济区与周边的交通网络都具有重要意义。
In December 2009, the construction of major projects in Guangxi started a new upsurge. On December 27, the Guangxi-Guiyang Railway Guangxi Section, Nanning East Railway Station, Yulin-Tieshan Port Railway and Guangxi Coastal Railway from Litang to Qinzhou Section were expanded and rebuilt Project, Linhai Park, Qinzhou, Guangxi regional railway extension Tai Lam Ping to Bonded Port section and other five railway projects started at the same time. These projects are of great significance for expanding the transportation capacity of the southwest passage to the sea and perfecting Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone and the surrounding transportation network.
