The alcohol was converted to the alkyl chloride SnyderDC by means of TMSCl / DMSO [JOrg Chem, 1995; 60: 2638] ROH was mixed with trimethylsilyl chloride (TMSCl) and DMSO at a molar ratio of 1: 2: 0.26 to RCl.
