主席,各位前辈,各位先生,同志们!我很高兴有机会出席北京师范大学举办的纪念白寿彝先生诞辰一百周年大会。我们今天纪念白先生诞辰一百周年是很有意义的。回顾新中国60年的历史学,白寿彝先生作为新中国史学奠基人之一的荣誉,是当之无愧的。白先生曾经担任过中国史学会主席团成员,是中国史学会早期领导人之一。作为晚辈,我在这里代表中国史学会衷心祝贺大会的举办,并且向 Madam President, distinguished predecessors, gentlemen, and comrades, I am pleased to have the opportunity to attend the 100th anniversary celebration of the birthday of Mr. Bai Shouyi held by Beijing Normal University. It is very significant for us today to commemorate the centenary of Mr. Bai’s birthday. Reviewing the 60-year history of New China, it is well-deserved that Mr. Bai Shou-yi, as one of the founders of the history of new China, is honored. Mr. Bai was a member of the presidium of the Chinese Historical Society and one of the early leaders of the Chinese Historical Society.
