语文教学长期以来在语言运用能力的提高方面始终不尽如人意,不能很好地发挥其培养和提高人的综合素质的作用,其主要原因一是由于教师对语文教学内容目的作用认识不够明确,二是在语文教学中缺乏必要的语言学及语言学理论指导。语文教师必须首先明确语言是语文教学的主要内容,提高语言运用能力是其主要目的,培养和提高人的综合素质是其重要作用。其次要掌握相关的语言学及语言学理论知识,并具有用理论指导教学实践及把理论转化为教学理念和教学方法的能力。
