2004年3月1日上午,国家林业局党组成员、中国林科院院长江泽慧教授视察了南京森林公安高等专科学校,在学校报告厅为2000多名师生和警官培训中心的学员们作了题为“树立和落实科学发展观,为保障林业安全培育高素质的人才队伍”专题报告,部分学生在教学楼各阶梯教室同时观看现场实况转播。报告会结束后,江泽慧院长等领导视察了新落成的仙林校区,并对学校的建设与发展作了重要指示,随后还参加了学校的植树活动。
