在科技书刊中,插图被誉为视觉文学,与文字一样表达作者的写作意图。因而插图的运用、绘制以及有关的知识和技术,作者应当了解与掌握。在《河北医学院学报》(简称《学报》)收到的大量稿件中,特别是基础医学稿件,几乎每篇都有图。作者提供的图稿有的不够准确、不够规范,需重新设计。为提高论文中图稿水平,本文对插图有关问题进行探讨。 1 插图的作用 1.1 插图以直观的方法,简洁地表述量与量之间的关系,明确地显示了事物形态、结构、特性及其变化趋势。它可压缩文字,使读者迅速理解,一目了然,形象直观的表述科研构思和技术知识。 1.2 用简单的图形取代用大量文字、表格也
In science and technology books and periodicals, illustrations are hailed as visual literature, expressing the author’s intention of writing the same as words. Thus the use of illustrations, drawings and related knowledge and technology, the author should understand and master. In a large number of manuscripts received in “Journal of Hebei Medical College” (“Journal” for short), especially articles on basic medical science, almost every one of them has a map. Some of the artwork provided by the author is not accurate enough, not standard enough and needs to be redesigned.
