由于公众环境保护意识的增强和油价可能再升高,以及中东对西方国家有着巨大的影响,因而促进了应用铝来减轻汽车重量。铝的应用已延伸到许多汽车部件,例如传动系统、车轮、支架和制动系统部件等等;汽车外壳的用铝量正在增加,铝制结构件也正在被采用。本文介绍了加拿大汽车结构公司的铝结构汽车制造技术(ASVT),即关于轻质车身结构和当今铝技术在汽车领域的主要特点,以及未来发展。还介绍了制造工艺技术、ASVT粘接和点焊设备的最新发展。此外,还叙述了回收利用这些铝结构的废旧物的潜力。
Thanks to the increased public awareness of environmental protection and the possible rise in oil prices, as well as the tremendous impact the Middle East has on Western countries, aluminum is being used to reduce vehicle weight. Aluminum applications have been extended to many automotive components such as drivetrain, wheels, brackets and brake system components, etc .; the amount of aluminum used in automotive housings is increasing and aluminum structures are also being used. This article describes Canadian Automotive Structural Company’s Aluminum Structural Automotive Manufacturing Technology (ASVT), which is about the key features of lightweight body structures and today’s aluminum technologies in the automotive arena, as well as future developments. Also introduced manufacturing process technology, ASVT bonding and spot welding equipment, the latest developments. In addition, the potential of recycling waste materials with these aluminum structures is described.
