Corneal limbus radial, width of 1mm wrinkles (palisades of Vogt, referred to as POV), by the limbal epithelium and subepithelial connective tissue composition. Rabbit experiments show that POV repair of corneal epithelial defects and prevent conjunctival epithelial invasion of the cornea has a very important role. The authors observe the clinical significance of the disappearance of POV when corneal disease is observed.
