In the beginning of 2000,three ash pits of the Western Zhou period were excavated at Dongzhai village,Zhongyuan district of Zhengzhou city by Zhengzhou municipal Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and a number of ceramic vessels have been found.Those findings are believed to have provided important materials for the study of the State Guan of the early Western Zhou Dynasty
