书法课程的开发与实施,旨在进一步提高学生的审美情趣和身心素质,提升学生的综合应用与实践能力,促进学生的全面发展。目前,我国各中小学无论从所选教材及课程实施来看,基本都以讲授写字技法为主,而从书法艺术丰富的文化价值这个方面对学生的培养开发有所欠缺。尤其是对书法改善学生的思维品质,培养学生的创新精神,审美能力以及辩证思维能力的功能认识不足。通过调查多所中小学写字课的现状来看,尽管老师组织了大量的训练,学生通过训练也有了写字的基本技能,但是由于这种片面性的教学,学生们还不能对书法有深入的体验与了解,学生应该具有的审美情趣及审美素质有待于提高。
