新的历史时期,我们党面临着执政和改革开放的严峻考验。加强党风建设,对于保持党的工人阶级先锋队性质,密切党群关系和贯彻执行党的基本路线,有着极其重要的意义。党的十四大把端正党风和坚持反腐败斗争列为新时期加强党的建设的重要内容。要求全党在改革开放的整个过程中,坚持不懈地把端正党风和加强廉政建设作为一件大事,下决心抓出成效,取信于民。
In the new historical period, our party is under the severe test of governance and reform and opening up. To strengthen the party’s style of work has an extremely important meaning in maintaining the party’s nature as a vanguard of the working class, in getting closer to the party-masses relations and in implementing the party’s basic line. The 14th National Congress of the Party has listed the correct style of the party and its struggle against corruption as an important part of strengthening party building in the new period. He urged the entire party to persevere in its reform and opening up as a major event in its efforts to rectify its party style and strengthen its clean government building and make every effort to gain results and win the trust of the people.
