今年初,由万正中以30年时间编撰的《徽州人物志》正式由黄山书社出版发行,这为徽学研究提供了一部人物资料非常翔实的工具书,被学界认为是这一领域的扛鼎之作。《徽州人物志》所收人物地域为原徽州的一府六县,即歙县、休宁、黟县、绩溪、祁门、婺源,同时也酌收了曾隶属徽州的太平和旌德两县人物;从时间上看,上自先秦,下迄现代。《徽州人物志》按传主的主要业绩分类列卷,按时序先后编排,共分政事、徽商、教育、文化等10卷,所收人物5399人,约160万字,创下了先前所有徽州人物志书的最新纪录。
