嘉兴市秀洲区位于浙江省北部,地处杭嘉湖平原,东邻上海,西靠杭州,南濒杭州湾,北接苏州,全区总面积542平方公里,户籍人口31.6万。秀洲历史悠久,文化底蕴深厚,是文化部首批命名的“中国现代民间绘画画乡”。秀洲区现有中小学41所,其中高中2所,初中11所,小学28所,在校学生43000多人。2004年以来,秀洲区在中小学生中开展了“以《守则》和《规范》为载体、以中华传统美德教育为主线,让德育走进生活、走进心灵”的活动,
Xiuzhou District of Jiaxing City is located in the north of Zhejiang Province, in the Hangjiahu Plain, east of Shanghai, west of Hangzhou, south of Hangzhou Bay, and north of Suzhou. The district has a total area of 542 square kilometers and a registered population of 316,000. Xiuzhou has a long history and profound cultural background. It is the first batch of “Chinese modern folk painting painting townships” named by the Ministry of Culture. There are 41 elementary and middle schools in Xiuzhou District, including 2 high schools, 11 junior high schools, 28 elementary schools, and more than 43,000 students. Since 2004, Xiuzhou District has carried out activities in primary and secondary schools that use “Code” and “Standards” as carriers and Chinese traditional virtue education as the main line to allow moral education to enter life and enter the mind."
