走出江西省萍乡县城的南门一里许,在山林小道上有一座古庙。这里有树也有悦耳的鸟声,空气新鲜,环境舒适,是一个养病的好地方。广州铁路局萍乡地区就在这里办了一个肺结核病自办疗养所。这个疗养所是在党、政、工会的支持和铁路萍乡卫生所的指导下病人自己办起来的。最初是几个病人因为住不上院,在团体里住又怕把病传染给别人,于是商量着找一个地方聚集一起,以便互相研究养病生活及如何加强营养等。很快地就被卫生所的医师知道了,汇报给党支部和工会并建议支持这个办法。工会拔给了开办费,这些病人就自己动起手来,卫生所所长医师们以及其他休班人员也都来帮助,这样就把一个空无人住的古寺,改变成一个疗养所了。这里有24张病
Out of the south gate of Pingxiang county in Jiangxi province, there is an ancient temple in the forest path. There are trees, birds, sweet air, fresh air and comfortable environment, which is a good place to recuperate. Pingxiang, Guangzhou Railway Bureau here to do a tuberculosis self-recuperation. The sanatorium was run by the patients themselves under the guidance of the party, government, trade unions and the railway Pingxiang public health center. Initially, a few patients, who refused to stay in the hospital and lived in community for fear of spreading the disease to others, consulted to find a place to gather together to study each other’s illness and how to strengthen nutrition. Quickly became known to the clinic’s physicians, reported to party branches and unions, and proposed to support this approach. The unions pulled out the start-up fee, and the patients mobilized themselves. The director of the clinic and other off-duty staff also helped to transform a deserted temple into a sanitarium.
