2004年6月20日,大韩民国驻青岛总领事馆新馆奠基仪式隆重举行。出席仪式的有中国外交部部长李肇星、韩国外交通商部长官潘基文、韩国驻华大使金夏中、山东省副省长孙守璞等,青岛市市长夏耕及韩国驻青岛总领馆总领事辛亨根分别致辞。夏耕在奠基仪式上的致辞中说,韩国驻青岛总领事馆新馆的开工建设,是建国以来青岛市首次为国外驻青岛的领事机构建设馆舍,是青岛对外开放的一件盛事。总领事馆新馆的开工建设对进一步密切青岛与韩国的交流与合作,将产生积极而深远的影响。辛亨根说,今年恰逢大韩民国驻青岛总领事馆建馆10周年,总领事馆新馆的开工建设是为了适应近年来韩国与山东省、青岛市之间交流合作关系飞速发展的形势,也是为了给越来越多的韩国侨民和韩国投资企业提供更好的服务。中韩建交以来,青岛与韩国在经贸、文
On June 20, 2004, the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new museum of the Consulate General of Republic of Korea in Qingdao was held. Present at the ceremony were Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Li Zhaoxing, South Korean Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Ban Ki-moon, Korean Ambassador to China Jin Xiazhong, Shandong Provincial Vice Governor Sun Shoupu, etc. Qingdao Mayor Xia Geng and Consul General of South Korea’s Consulate in Qingdao Xin Henggen Respectively addressed. In his address at the groundbreaking ceremony, Xia Geng said that the construction of the new museum of the Consulate General of South Korea in Qingdao was the first time since the founding of the People’s Republic of China that building a consular mission for foreign countries in Qingdao is a grand event for opening to the outside world. The opening of a new consulate-general’s new building will have a positive and far-reaching impact on further enhancing the exchanges and cooperation between Qingdao and South Korea. Xinhenggen said that coincides with the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Consulate General of Republic of Korea in Qingdao this year, the construction of a new consulate-general’s new hall is to meet the rapid development of exchanges and cooperation between South Korea and Shandong Province and Qingdao Municipality in recent years. The more Korean expatriates and the Korean investment firms provide better services.
