21世纪,中华民族正在很多方位发出自己的声音,全世界都在谛听。沉积着中华民族的魂魄、包含着浓郁传统文化的京剧艺术就是其中的一种声音,高亢雄浑、悠远苍凉的京剧艺术是世界戏剧中的华采乐章,是我们中华民族传统美德、民族智慧和艺术精华的集中体现。京剧的戏剧艺术体系完全可以同斯坦尼斯拉夫斯基戏剧体系、布莱希特戏剧体系相媲美。梅兰芳访日、访美、访苏时,受到了当地观众和文艺界的瞩目,并在美国获名誉文学博士学位。2001年的全国京剧演员电视大赛、把凤舞龙翔、雅韵清歌送到千家万户,使京剧艺术再度成为社会关注的文化热点。京剧作为民族艺术的魂宝,我们每一个炎黄子孙有责任去关心它、了解它、认识它、弘扬它。——编者
