众所周知,重力坝结构较简单,可采用低标号混凝土,但其浇注工程量大,因此近年来国外从事坝工研究的科技工作者正在探求改革重力坝结构的可能途径。对此苏联坝工界作了大量的试验研究,提出了重力坝结构改革的一种新型式——轻型重力坝,并于1973年设计了库尔普萨混凝土轻型重力坝。有关资料表明,轻型重力坝改善了传统重力坝存在的一些弊病,不仅其稳定性和坚固性可靠,而且能减少坝体混凝土方量,降低工程造价,因此轻型重力坝一经提出在国际坝工界引起了广泛的反映,目前苏联等国对这种坝型正在进一步进行讨论和研究,坝工建设上的这一新动向不能不引起我们极大的关注。
