In order to reduce the common local and systemic reactions during the DTP-polio vaccine (DTP-P) vaccination studies, various methods were studied. Some kind of reaction is thought to be caused by the inadvertent deposition of alum adsorbed vaccine in the subcutaneous tissue. In previous studies, the authors concluded that local dilation of the anterior thigh by 2.5-cm needle-injected DTP-P vaccine in 18-month-old children was significantly less than that of the 1.6-cm needle in 18-month-old children. In addition, the use of paracetamol at the same time as DTP-P and 4 hours after inoculation significantly reduced fever and other systemic reactions. Sako et al. Recommend needle exchange before injection, Sauer and Tucker recommend that before the needle is withdrawn from the muscle, one
