波兰国营铁路(PKP)拥有25000km铁路网和25万名职工。目前,已经建立和拥有一个支持铁路运营管理信息系统的X.25分组交换网,即PKPX.25网络。它已加入欧洲铁路计算机网络的互连网络——EURODAT。并与德国、斯洛伐克、捷克等相邻国家铁路的X.25分组交换网络互连,处理有关国际联运和旅客列车座席预约系统信息交换的信息传输。此外,它与波兰国家公用分组交换网络——POLPAK也相互连结。
The Polish National Railway (PKP) has 25,000 km of railroad network and 250,000 workers. Currently, an X.25 packet-switched network supporting the railway operation management information system, PKPX.25 network, has been established and owned. It has joined EURODAT, the Internet network of European railway computer networks. And is interconnected with the X.25 packet-switched network of neighboring countries such as Germany, Slovakia and the Czech Republic to handle the transmission of information on the exchange of information between international and passenger train seat reservation systems. In addition, it is interconnected with POLPAK, the national packet switching network in Poland.
