He accepted the theory of social Darwinism and, in a world full of ruthless competition, Wisdom soon dominated the US apparel industry. However, to a deeper level, Levinsky’s experience is actually a Jewish betrayal of the traditional Jewish spirit. The seeds of betrayal have already been in place before he left Russia.
