Some national and Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress deputies organized groups according to freshwater fisheries and marine fisheries. They went to Wuxi, Zhenjiang, Xinghua, Sihong and Qidong, Rudong, Dafeng and Ganyu from November 30 to December 9, 1989 respectively. Eight counties (cities) inspected fisheries.
