Kangawa等1979年从猪下丘脑中分得一新的阿片肽α-新-内啡肽,1981年测定了氨基酸顺序为:H-Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Leu-Arg-Lys-Tyr-Pro-Lys-OH。其氨基N-末端1~5片段为亮-脑啡肽结构。在豚鼠回肠试验中,α-新-内啡肽的阿片样活性约为亮-脑啡肽的21倍。作者应用当今化学合成DNA和重组DNA技术
In 1979, Kangawa et al. Obtained a new opioid peptide α-neo-endorphin from porcine hypothalamus. The amino acid sequence was determined in 1981: H-Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Leu-Arg-Lys-Tyr- Pro-Lys-OH. The N-terminal 1 ~ 5 amino acid residues are enkephalin-enkephalin structure. In the guinea pig ileum test, the opioid activity of a-neo-endorphin was about 21 times that of enkephalin.
