Fangjin, located in the southwestern part of the Satsuma Peninsula in Japan, was the land where Chinese Buddhist monks from the Tang Dynasty landed. It is a hilly area facing the sea with lush forests. The Tang embassy was built in the dense forests of the mountains and the sea. Sending Tang embassies as a building is very unique. It is solitary and far away from the city. There are no other buildings nearby and it is a design issue for the building’s rarity. In addition, the Tang embassy has only two floors, a height of only a few meters, and the square garden is only a few tens of meters. How to coordinate with the surrounding natural environment can be said to be the key to design. Professor Matsui Hongfang, the designer, placed the embassy’s position in the foothills of the Linhai Mountains. After passing through the deforestation trees, the Tang embassy was presented to an embassy.
