古斯塔夫·克里姆特(Klimt,Gustav)(1862—1918年),奥地利画家。他被认为是20世纪西方最杰出的画家之一。1862年7月14日生于维也纳一个制作金银首饰的世家。父亲从事金银雕刻兼铜版工艺,育有七个儿女,克里姆特是家中的长子。家传的金工技巧对画家产生了巨大的影响,1877年与两个弟弟一起进入维也纳工艺美术学校学习,接受传统绘画训练,毕业后进行壁画、壁饰的艺术创作。
Klimt, Gustav (1862-1918), Austrian painter. He is considered one of the most prominent painters in the West in the twentieth century. July 14, 1862 was born in Vienna, a production of gold and silver jewelry family. His father engaged in gold and silver engraving and copper craft, has seven children, Klimt is the eldest son in the family. Home-made metalworking skills had a huge impact on the painter. In 1877, he joined two younger brothers in the Vienna School of Art and Design and trained in traditional painting. After graduation, he conducted the artistic creation of murals and wall decorations.
