7月18日,常务副市长陈开枝主持召开现场办公会议,研究珠江两岸(广州段)建设。整治的有关问题。会议认为,珠江广州段是珠江水系的重要组成部分。建设好珠江两岸是一个宏伟的工程它的建成将使广州更美丽、更有特色、更有吸引力。会议决定:

The meeting held that the Pearl River Guangzhou section is an important part of the Pearl River system.
