This paper summarizes the whole process of a torch burst test of a toroidal explosion. It is pointed out that the main factor affecting the penetration effect is the inert material existing between the detonator and the blasting explosive. Some data about the influence of setting the guide groove on the outer surface of the projectile charge to the armor are introduced.
