西丰县境内七山一水二分田,适宜栽山楂的山地面积达二十多万亩。为了适应千家万户利用自留山、责任山建立山楂园的需要,积极发展西丰红山楂优良品种,现在介绍山地建立山楂密植园的方法。 一、选地与规划 选地是建园的重要一环,应本着不与粮菜争地的原则,尽可能选择座北朝南,背风向阳、土壤肥沃(黑壤土或沙壤土),20度以下的缓坡建园。选好园地后进行果园规划,以自然沟作为排水沟,两个排水沟之间作为一小区,也可按30～50亩一个坡面作为一小区。每个小区内只栽山楂,不混栽其它果树。
