随着沿边开放战略的实施,西部地区将从对外开放的“未端”变为“前沿”,可望冲破长期封闭的羁绊束缚,得到更多国际分工的好处。如今,西部人已逐步认识到这种区位优势的价值。我们应当辩证地看待区位优势,一定要把着力点放在改善对外开放的环境上来,才能变地理上的区位优势为现实的经贸优势。
With the implementation of the strategy of opening up along the border, the western region will change from the “unfinished” opening to the outside world to the “frontier” and is expected to break through the long-bound bondage and get the benefits of more international division of labor. Nowadays, Westerners have gradually realized the value of such location advantages. We should take a dialectical view of the geographical advantages and must focus our efforts on improving the environment for opening to the outside world in order to change the geographical advantages of a region into a realistic economic and trade advantage.
